New Community and Cultural Centre on the edge of Lake Karapiro, delivered for the 2010 World Rowing Championships.

Precast concrete panelling, Cedar skin, aluminium, steel and glazed iconic stadium structure, replacing the 1978 centre.

Specific design examination to set the building mass into the ground, yet provide for the necessary multi level panorama across the lake, with internal space planning linking activities within the building perimter.
