The project consists of an 8000m² multi purpose event centre comprising large sports halls with specialist flooring, seating and lighting, plus conference facility and a grand hall concourse, connected to the existing sports drome.  Parking and landscaping for 400 cars, located on a sensitive lakeside site.  Environmental and cultural (specifically Maori) concerns are respected in the design.
