Glen aspires to create healthy, uplifting buildings that enhance the way we live, work and play, contribute positively to their surroundings, and respond sensitively to our precious natural environment.

Having grown up in a rural environment, surrounded by a trade-oriented, hands-on family who liked to get things done, he has a strong interest in sustainability and prides himself in applying that same can-do, commonsense approach to his professional life. He strives to deliver creative solutions and top results for his clients. A strategic thinker and skilled communicator, he has an innate ability to see the bigger picture and explain his vision to others.

Glen’s specific area of expertise lies in the master planning, feasibility and concept, right through to the delivery of residential projects such as apartments, terraced houses, duplex homes and single-dwelling houses. He has led numerous projects for Housing NZ and Universal Homes, and is currently working on several multi-unit residential developments, apartments and a hotel. His other areas of experience include large-scale aged care, commercial, industrial and retail.

Outside of work, Glen enjoys music (playing guitar and piano), mountain biking and road cycling (he completed the Tour of Southland) and DIY – but has put most of these hobbies on hold while he and his wife raise their two young boys.

Deeply involved in his local community, Glen represented the Hillpark Residents Association during the three-year Unitary Plan process that saw Hillpark attain a ‘Special Character’ overlay in recognition of its remnant native forest and mid-century architecture.
