Glenn is managing director of Team Architect’s New Plymouth practice and is a highly experienced architect and leader of multi-disciplinary teams. Strongly collaborative in style, he mixes a natural creativity with significant technical and industry knowledge to bring innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
Glenn is a skilled communicator adept at fronting public and stakeholder forums to effectively communicate design ideas and project objectives. He is a passionate advocate of using design thinking to actively advance project design, planning and delivery for the benefit of his clients and local communities.
With over 25 years of design and construction industry experience, Glenn has key specialisations in the design of sporting, aquatic and recreation facilities, as well as residential and aged care design, and commercial developments. He has worked with a wide range of private commercial, corporate, and local government organisations throughout New Zealand, and his extensive project portfolio includes the Trust Aoraki Caroline Bay Aquatic Centre; the New Plymouth Foreshore railway overpass (for which he won an NZIA NZ Architecture Award in the Urban category); the Fraser Park Sportsville multisport facility; the Masonic Trust Manadon Village and the Liardet Apartments.
Outside the office, Glenn enjoys a range of summer and winter sports including surfing, kite-surfing, mountain biking and skiing. He has been on the boards of WOMAD NZ Trust and TAFT (Taranaki Arts Festival Trust) since 2003.
