Meyer & Prichard offers contempory New Zealand labels in New Plymouth’s new fashion outlet.
An interior fitout for a new fashion outlet. Using plywood, polished concrete floors, Perspex, graphic design and innovative lighting to achieve simple, clean lines for the presentation of contemporary fashion labels.
Meyer & Prichard offers an impressive line up of internationally recognised designers…names such as Karen Walker, little brother, Ricochet, World, Nicholas Blanchet, Saben, Nicked, Carlson, Sabine and Gubb & Mackie. Done on a shoestring budget the key element to the design was simplicity and originality.
A long and narrow floor plan called for a layout with clarity. Most of the clothing display hangs on the left with the service counter on the right. The rich timber veneer counter boasts a warm contrast to the polished concrete floor. The wall behind the counter is decorated with polished aluminium diamonds, a subtle reference to an expensive evening gown! The changing rooms are located at the rear and well lit with concealed fluorescent lights around mirrors. The rear wall is back-lit Perspex with graphically designed signage depicting the various labels in stock.
“Fabulous fashion, chic décor and a welcoming atmosphere make Meyer & Prichard a place to browse and people are welcome to do so….” “It’s fashion but not like you’ve known it”
