Progress on Hamilton’s new Pacific Island community hub is moving forward, with big plans being made for early 2023.
The opening of the K’aute Pasifika Hub, designed by TEAM Architects Hamilton, will be a significant celebration for the local community. It will coincide with the return of the HSBC New Zealand Rugby Sevens tournament to the city.
With both events happening on the weekend of January 21-22 next year, K’aute Pasifika Trust chief executive Leaupepe Rachel Karalus said the rugby tournament at the nearby FMG Stadium Waikato would help add some real “sparkle” to the hub’s opening celebrations.
