This key role is ideal for a senior architect with demonstrated experience in managing a range of architectural projects. You will oversee and develop a small project team through all design phases, handling projects of varying size and complexity. You’ll work closely with senior leadership on business development and, most importantly, ensure the delivery of well-considered design solutions at every stage of the project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead design and documentation of architectural projects of all sizes and complexities
- Engage directly with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
- Lead and mentor junior team members while fostering a positive studio culture
- Maintain project delivery through all phases
- Lead or Contribute in business development supported by executive management
WHAT ARE WE SEEKING
- We are seeking a TEAM Mate – a Studio Lead - in our Ōtautahi Christchurch studio.
- Proven ability to effectively lead, communicate and seamlessly collaborate with team of highly skilled design professionals.
- A strong passion for architecture, supported by a proven track record of delivering high-quality design and construction outcomes for heritage, commercial and community projects.
- NZRAB registered and minimum 10 years post registration New Zealand experience.
- Experience serving as a design lead on adaptive reuse and heritage management projects, will be viewed favourably.
- Strong Revit and BIM workflow proficiency
- Preferably experienced in Ōtautahi Christchurch and region.
