The Masonic Villages Trust delivers high-end, quality senior living through various care and retirement facilities across the North Island.

The Client asked for a new, modern facility that would allow them to deliver quality care within an environment consistent with the look and quality of the adjacent Woburn Apartments. They also wanted a design that would link ‘key’ internal spaces and maximise natural light.

Visitors and residents follow a ‘public street’ from the main entrance to the facility's centre. The main reception, a comfortable guest lounge, a modern café, lift access to the upper floor, and the nurse's station are along its length.

Full-length windows at the end of corridors and along its length, with views into landscaped courtyards, bring natural light deep into the facility, making the space light, warm and inviting.
